How to check your bankruptcies status? … Number of years before a person who has been declared bankrupt can apply for a court discharged.

The e-Insolvency Portal is a service module contained in the System
Integrated Insolvency (INSIST) which is the case administration system of the Insolvency Department
Malaysia.

How To Check Bankruptcy Status

This portal was developed to provide services to customers
MdI in dealing with this department. This portal provides such services
the following:

i. Individual Bankruptcy Status Search Service;
ii. Company Winding Up Status Search Service;
iii. Insolvency Monthly Installment Payment; and
iv. Petitioner’s Deposit Payment.

The e-Insolvency portal can be accessed via url: https://e-insolvensi.mdi.gov.my. This portal
can also be accessed through the MdI Main portal, at url: http://www.mdi.gov.my with
select the e-Insolvency icon on the Public tab.

How To Check Bankruptcy Status?

To use the e-Insolvency portal service, please ensure:

a) A registered user account already exists;
b) ‘Adobe Reader’ software for viewing PDF documents installed on the computer;
c) Stable Internet connection. The recommended speed is 1MB.

The best display is using Google Chrome browser, Mozilla Firefox, Google
Chrome, Safari, Opera and Internet Explorer.

How To Check Bankruptcy Status?

1.0 First Time Users

1. Every user who wants to use this application needs to register
first. Registration only needs to be done once.

2. If you have previously registered the User Id and login key

1.1 New User Registration

1. Click on the New Register button for Daftar baru

2. Complete the information as the form is displayed. Please make sure
all information is filled in completely.

3. Click the Submit button.

4. Log in again using the User ID and Password registered after registration is complete.

2.0 Login

3.0 Forgot password

If the user forgets the password that has been registered, click the Lupa katalaluan.

1. Enter the registered email.

2. Click Reset Katalaluan.

3. The old password will be reset and the new password will be sent to the user’s email.

4.0 User Accounts Page

Users can start using the services provided after the login process is complete

1. Click on update profile to update the user account information.
2. Click View Payment Record to view past payment records.
3. Please select the list of services offered to initiate transactions on the eInsolvency portal.
